ATTIRE FOR BSW REHEARSALS (CAST) / PERFORMANCES (VOLUNTEERS)
CAST
HAIR: Should be pulled neatly away from the face, secured in some fashion (a ponytail is preferred). Hair hanging in the face is not acceptable.
SHOES: Jazz shoes should be available at all times, however, specific shoes (ie: character shoes or tennis shoes) could be requested by the director. Our preference is that the shoes to be worn in the show will be worn in rehearsal. NO BARE FEET AT ANY TIME, unless instructed specifically by the director. BOYS: Jazz shoes or tennis shows, unless indicated by the director.
ATTIRE: General street attire, dresses, etc are not acceptable. Comfortable clothing that allows actors to move and be active without inhibiting their actions is acceptable. These items of clothes should be form fitting...no baggy shirts or pants that could become a hazard if caught on something.
VOLUNTEERS
We are so grateful for our volunteers, we could not do these shows without you!
Please note that in following with Academy standards, we do request that certain wardrobe guidelines be followed.
BACKSTAGE CREW: Dressed in all black or dark colors. We ask that you avoid wearing bright colors or anything that might be distracting to the audience, who will be able to see you. Tennis shoes or boots are required as a safety precaution.
HOUSE / AUDIENCE VOLUNTEERS: We ask that you dress professionally / business casual. No denim or shorts, please. Our house volunteers are the first people that our guests see and we want to set the tone of a professional theatre environment so that the audience, staff and cast uses their best theatre etiquette.
Please email info@rafadance.com for
