DONTEE KIEHN– RAFA ALUMNAE

Dontee Kiehn presently serves as the Associate Choreographer for the new Broadway musical Next to Normal having also seen the piece through productions at Second Stage Theater, NY and Arena Stage, Washington D.C. Dontee has been a collaborator on the productions of the new musical Saved (Playwrights Horizon, NY), Hansel and Gretel (Houston Grand Opera, PBS Live from Lincoln Center), Paul Newman’s Gala (New York City Center), as well as coordinating movement for the American premier of the play Cherry Smoke (Kirk Theater, NY). This past year, Ms. Kiehn has choreographed the pre- Broadway tryout of a new musical of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice at the Eastman Theater, NY and has also staged original ballets for the Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theater. Dontee has appeared onstage in the original Broadway revival companies of Gypsy (starring Bernadette Peters) and 42nd Street and is pleased to begin work as assistant choreographer this summer on the upcoming new Broadway musical the Addams Family, starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, set to open April 2010.
