HEATHER STEELE – ARTISTIC ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR |

Heather has studied at RAFA for 16 years under the prestigious teachings of: Lynette Mason Gregg, Soili Arvola, Leo Ahonen, and Misha Bart. She has performed featured roles in Coppelia, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Dracula, and roles from Gingerchild to Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. She has been fortunate enough to work with world-renowned choreographers such as: Olga Kostritsky, Amelia Hunter, Slam, and various others.
Heather received the 2000 CLMB Scholarship to attend the Joffrey Training Program, and was accepted to study with the Boston Ballet Summer Intensive. Heather is currently enrolled at the University of Houston where she working towards her degree in business. In addition to teaching at RAFA she is also the Graded Division Coordinator, Vaganova Coordinator, Prelude Coordinator, and has recently been named the Associate Director for the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre. |
