Kristina Burgess is excited to be joining the RAFA staff. Known for her electric comtemporary style and emotional
presence on stage, she dances from the heart. She has trained and worked not only in Houston, but all over the United States.
Some companies Kristina has worked with are The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, City Ballet of Houston, Delia Stewart Dance
Company, and Chrysalis to name a few. Also Ms. Burgess has had the honor of touring nationally with Sesame Street Live and performing with Theatre Under
the Stars, Masquerade Theatre and The Country Playhouse. She has also studied with The Edge Studios, Broadway Dance Centre, Steps, Houston Ballet,
Hubbard Street Dance Company, Joffery Ballet, and Gus Giordano.
Kristina has been inspired by many amazing teachers and choreographers over her 25 years dance experience. Among them are
Michelle Assaf, Keith Clifton, Savion Glover, Jana Hicks, David Howard, Liz Imperio, Martha Kelly, Dorrell Martin, Eddy Ocampo, Jason Parsons,
Gilbert Rome, Margo Sappington, Max Stone, Wes Vedlink, Vicki Vittum, Kevin Wynn, and Mario Zambrano. For Kristina, nothing is more important
than sharing ones gift.
