PRELUDES |

The Preludes are a “by audition only” group of students between the ages of 8-15. Auditions take place in June and students who have training in ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre audition with combinations given by an instructor.
The Preludes spend the Summer learning a 30 minute variety/review style show that is performed at community events. The Preludes are a training wing and precursor to the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre.
The 2008-2009 Prelude show is called “The Envelope Please! ”. This show takes a tour around the world of award winning music! Using ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theatre dance, as well as singing – award winning music is celebrated in this fast paced, entertaining show !
